ZOMG, I’m in love with this preview ♥ Is that possible?! I blame you, Lee Donghae!
So many emotions right now, I donut what to do. There’s Zhoumi’s song, which fits the preview so well ♥ and then there’s the internal dialogue and Donghae’s FACE.
On one hand I really like Siwon and his portrayal of Lian/Ren
But watching that preview + Zhoumi’s song, I can’t help but get emotional
I can’t help but ship Shang/Sho with Gongxi/Kyoko even after how he treated her because in the end, they both know each other better than anyone else and their love is so dysfunctional yet married.
Seeing Shang show remorse, his mind completely occupied with thoughts of her
Knowing he screwed up, but still wanting to win her back
I love the way he looks at her so intensely
And I love the way she looks at him
They really do have so much unresolved tension
That they both can’t admit to each other or move on from each other. And that’s why I would totally watch a season 2 of Shang trying to redeem himself, fighting for Gongxi, and I’d probably most likely 99% root for him. Actually, I’d just root for him to cause a lot of havoc, mayhem and jealousy between Lian and Gongxi.
Just because of this preview and how at the end of the actual scene, Donghae looks into the camera, and even though he’s not saying anything and his internal thoughts are being dubbed over, his eyes express so much.
Like he’s saying, “I want you. Don’t go, don’t leave me.”
Fuuuuu how does a girl resist?!
Which btw, someone still needs to make gif of. Donghae’s expression was perfection, he completely nailed what Shang was supposed to be expressing without saying anything.
I know in the end, Gongxi will end up with Lian, but before that happens, I look forward seeing a naughty mischievous Shang with his trademark smirk getting in their way.
